IXO is a wearable safety device that helps combat street harassment. The device utilizes an integrated camera, flashlight, microphone, and speaker to threaten accountability in public spaces and provide reassurance to the user of their safety. Given the rise of hate-motivated crimes in Germany, IXO strives to enhance user safety while on the move by recording social interactions and alerting authorities when necessary. Recordings are automatically stored on the user’s mobile device, providing access to valuable evidence when needed.
